1. Jembatan kayu ini sangat sempit dan licin. (this wooden bridge is very narrow and slippery).
2. Ini sendok dan itu pisau-pisau tajam. (this is spoon and those are sharp knives). 

3. Ini kursi – kursi bambunya paman saya. (these are my uncle's bamboo chairs).

4. Majalah-majah itu tidak bagus untuknya (pr). (those magazines aren't good for her).

       Irna  : Hello, I’m Irna. What’s your name? (Halo, aku Irna. Siapa namamu?)

Nana : Hi, I’m Nana. (Aku Nana)

Irna   : Are you new here? (Apa kamu baru di sini?)

Nana : Yes, I am. (Ya, benar)

Irna   : Where do you come from? (Dari mana asalmu?)

Nana : I’m from Medan. (Aku dari Medan)

Irna   : Do you live with your parents? (Apa kamu tinggal dengan orangtuamu?)

Nana : No, I live with my aunt. Which one is your house, Irna?  (Tidak, aku tinggal dengan bibiku. Yang manakah rumahmu, Irna?)

Irna   : It’s the blue one. (Yang warna biru)

Nana : Do you work, Irna? (Apakah kamu bekerja, Irna?)

Irna   : Yes, I do. I go to work after class. (Ya. Aku pergi kerja setelah ikut kelas)

Nana : What class do you go to? (Kelas apa yang kau datangi?)

Irna   : It’s sewing class. You may join if you want to. (Kelas menjahit. Kamu bisa bergabung kalau mau)

Nana : That sounds interesting. But I have to go to college until 3, except on the weekend. (Kedengarannya menarik. Tapi aku harus pergi ke kampus sampai jam tiga, kecuali di akhir pekan)

Irna   : That’s fine. They have weekend class, too. (Tidak apa. Mereka juga punya kelas akhir pekan)

Nana : Great, then. (Baguslah kalau begitu)

		Dad  : What is going on here? Why everything is a mess? (Ada apa ini? Kenapa semuanya berantakan?) Andi : I am building a castle, Dad. (Aku sedang membangun kastil, Papa.) Dad  : With pillows and sheet? Do you need help? (Pakai bantal dan sprei? Butuh bantuan?) Andi : Yes! (Iya!) Dad   : What kind of castle is this? (Kastil macam apa ini?) Andi  : It’s a castle for my family. I’m building it for my princess. She is staying with her mom while I’m finishing our house. (Ini kastil buat keluargaku. Aku sedang membangun kastil untuk putriku. Ia tinggal dengan ibunya selama aku menyelesaikan kastil ini.) Dad   : Oh, do I know this princess of yours? Have I met her? (Oh, Papa tahu nggak dengan putrimu ini? Papa pernah ketemu?) Andi  : I don’t think so. She’s my new classmate. (Kurasa nggak. Dia teman baruku di kelas.) Dad   : Oh, okay. Well, Andi, I’m thinking of making a room for your mother and I in this castle of yours. Can I do that? (Oh, oke. Andi, Papa sedang kepikiran untuk membuat satu kamar untuk mama dan papa di kastilmu ini. Bisa nggak Papa membangunnya?) Andi  : Sure, I’m working on it now. Your room is next to mine. (Tentu, ini aku sedang mengerjakannya. Kamar papa ada di sebelah kamarku.)
